Love Your Brothers
The founders of our Afro Reggae & Roots/World Music-Combo are the Percussionist, Isaac Oteng from Ghana (Punchband, Susi Bilibi, studio musician from Ofra Haza) and from the New York region Guitarist/Bassist Dante Thompson (So What, Finally, DT and DJ Sugarbear, The Ebony Struggle Project, Afro-Reggae and World Music Singer/Song Writer Godfrey Aletor).
As “Brothers” is the band complete with our Keyboarder Felix Birk (Tomorrow in Your Hands, La Bähm, Banksters und Parkbank), Guitarist Dieter Mertel (Finally, Breeze, Nina Falk Band), Drummer Frederik Birk (Tomorrow in Your Hands, La Bähm, Banksters, Check’n Chill und Funky Pilots), and last but not least Bassist Fess Fessler (Projekt Watzmann, Godfrey and the Grand Sons, Lauschgold, Godfrey’s Skyhigh, Banksters).
The result is a timeless Reggae and World music with a rich African flavor, and also reflects the Western styles of the different nationalites of the Band
